Tramp metal separation devices protect critical areas of plastic injection, blow molding, and extrusion and regrind equipment from stray ferrous metal found in resins. Hopper (Grate) Magnets

Round square and rectangular magnetic grates are used to remove ferrous tramp metal in hopers, bins and chutes. Grate magnets use round 1" diameter seam welded stainless steel magnetic tubes placed on 2" centers. Tubes are welded into a heavy duty stainless steel frame. Resin size, shape and rate of flow may require the use of a diverter to direct material flow over magnetic tubes.

Exposed Pole Tube Magnets

The Exposed Pole (EP) Tube Magnet captures ferrous tramp metal in pneumatic systems. EP Tube Magnets provide:

Unimpeded product flow while capturing ferrous tramp metal

Positive latching and gasketed door seal assures leak proof operation under normal line pressure. Available in standard line sizes from 2" to 8" diameter. Custom flanges are available to match existing pipe or tubing size.
